As a multidisciplinary subject, it forms the basis for understanding various scientific fields, promoting scientific literacy, and fostering problem-solving skills. In Nigeria, Integrated Science is designed to cultivate critical thinking, practical skills, and an appreciation of the interconnections between different scientific disciplines. However, disparities in teaching quality, access to instructional materials, and teacher expertise continue to impact the level of student achievement in Integrated Science, particularly in Education District IV.
