ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study is to show the role of bank in the development of small and medium enterprises in Nigeria. The researcher intends to carryout the case study of this topic at United Bank for Africa Plc, with the use of questionnaire and interview guide. Our findings will enable us to know how banks in Nigeria contribute to the development of small and medium enterprises in Nigeria which also help in our economy. Banking activities came to Nigeria for the first time in the year 1892 when the Africa Banking cooperation was established.
